Which is a lot of work, I think everyone agrees on that.  But
we can do it.  There is a handful of smart and well meaning
committers here who I feel, if given more time and pointed in
a direction of "what we should do" will come through perfectly.

Right now all we have been doing is bouncing around doing
whatever.  There is just no real sense of direction.
