Open Source communities don't work the "jump when I tell you" way.

Send a patch, if it doesn't cause regressions on -STABLE, I'll approve of it.

Shout out loud, stomp your feet on the ground, misattribute reasons, ignore
workarounds - exhibit otherwise infantile behavior, all that doesn't change
the situation.

Why would I do people a favour and sacrifice my spare time who get
insulting and don't try workarounds that have been suggested?

Trying to force your head through a brick wall? Good luck, but I'm not
interested.
