I have new IBM X3250 with onboard LSI 1064E SAS/RAID controller.

when I do
dd if=/dev/da0 of=/file.dd bs=1m count=1000

I get 10MBps transfer rate and tps 99 from iostat

when raid is not configured on onboard controller but enabled,
the tps value goes to 200 but it's to slow also. What should I do?

The OS version is 6.3 Release i386 GENERIC

I tried with 7.0RC1 and the tps goes to 500 when raid is not
configured. So it's better but not enough.
