I don't know what you mean by ``problem fixed'' or ``MFC,'' but for me the problem persists. I have built a -STABLE kernel on Feb 19 and still see the "some processes would not die" message. Wasn't there supposed to be a "feedback" state in the bug-report system that kept the bug report open until the fix was tested by the original problem reporter?
