Gimp-1.1.2. is in the ports and I thought he was installing the port.  If
he's not, all he has to do is do as the port does and use the correct
configure arguments (since he has used the ports for gtk and glib
apparently), ie:

CONFIGURE_ENV=  CPPFLAGS="-I${LOCALBASE}/include" \
                GTK_CONFIG="${X11BASE}/bin/gtk11d-config" \
                LIBS="-L${LOCALBASE}/lib" \
                INSTALL_SCRIPT='$${INSTALL} -m 755'
