hi, I have a box with 6 ethernetports. I would like two of the ports to bridge between eachother and use the other ports as router ports, without bridge processing or otherwise in separate L2 VLANs. I've seen the net.link.ether.bridge_cfg sysctl variable and I was thinking that using that I could possibly do this, but I would like to read up on it. I haven't been able to find a lot of data on this... It seems one can give a L2 vlan number to each port here, which would do this, but once again, I'm not too sure...
