A few days ago I freshly installed 8.0-CURRENT on a new amd64 box
and built X11 from ports.  Running firefox (either locally or from
a remote machine on the local display) causes the X server to lock
up within a few seconds.

This is with xf86-video-nv on a cheap GeForce 6200 LE card, no
xorg.conf, the latest xorg and drivers as of today.

The display freezes, Xorg gets stuck in a tight loop, doesn't react
to key presses any longer, doesn't react to any signals (I need to
SIGKILL it).  Incidentally, the mouse pointer does not freeze.

Xorg.0.log below.  Once the server locks up, there is also a steady
stream of

tossed event which came in late
mieqEnequeue: out-of-order valuator event; dropping.

lines, but presumably these are effect rather than cause.
