Ehmm, I notice no network activity at all ... when plugged at
a 100Mbps 3com hub.
As said, plugged at a (Netgear) 1Gbps it works flawlessly.

Let me know if I can test a patch/sysctl etc. For the time being
I will use this board internally anyway.
