You cannot use a SCSI write command to burn a CD.  There's some
special handling required, i think it's called ``write track'' or so.
The latest version of the Linux (or Yggdrasil? dunno) cdwrite(1)
program has code to handle some of the common burners.

Let me see what i could arrange during the holidays.
