This is an 'early' release in that it hasn't been tested as thoroughly as previous releases. However, it should work as well as older JDK1.1.6 releases. For all pertinent details on this release, including bugs and other infromation check out: http://www.freebsd.org/java Not all mirrors will have updated yet, so you may want to wait a few days for the mirrors to get caught up. - The FreeBSD JDK porting team [ Note, this release is an a.out release, since there doesn't (yet) exist at this time an ELF Motif library whose licenses allows public redistribution of the binaries.
