Subject: kernel panic after install

After FreeBSD 2.1 has been installed on my computer,
the kernel panics, giving messages like:
rlist_free: free start overlaps already freed area at list tail

Is this an installating error or am I having trouble with the
hardware? The problem is that Linux seems to be working fine,
but since I finally want to switch to freebsd....

The coomputer consists of an intel DX/100 with 8 Mb on a VL board,
a WD AC2850 IDE disk and a Seagate ST3243A disk.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks

Marc
