I was uncertain if the following is too commercial for the
FreeBSD-announce mailing list, but on the other hand, things
that promote the use and value of FreeBSD seem like a good thing
too. So if this is too commercial for the list you can let
me know at brian@mediacity.com.

Talisman Sequence P1S $299
   PCI Video Capture Card
      based on Phillips 7110/7116/7196 chipset

The Sequence P1S is a "matrox meteor"-like video capture card for
the PCI BUS. It works well with the meteor driver available under
FreeBSD and has been tested with most of the video tools in general
use under FreeBSD.

The following is excerpted from the brochure:

With the Sequence-P1S card you can digitally capture full-motion video
in high resolution from composite or S-video (S-VHS, Hi8) sources and
write to PCI computer memory.

o Economical and practical video capture card for still frames and
     motion video capture.

     24-bit (8-8-8), among others.

o Down sizing of input video to arbitrarily sized windows. Can capture
to smaller resolutions such as 80x60, 160x120, 320x240, etc.

o Brightness, contrast, saturation and hue control of scaled output.

o Writes directly to PCI based computer memory.

o Can write directly to many PCI based VGA cards.

o Power requirements: PCI bus, 5 Watts.

o Mechanical: PCI bus half length add-in card. Shipping weight 1.0 lb.

o Minimum System Requirements: PCI bus motherboard, one PCI slot.
