Hi all, especially od authors :) The PD drive works both as a CD and OD device with 2.1.5-R after some hacking the kernel to use NEW_SCSICONF. The device is properly recognized in both modi (it was already in the quirk list; someone must have had it :) and allows itself to be fdisked, disklabeled and newfsed. It is presently being used as a backup media. I can post my pd640 disktab entry if anyone is interested. /Marino
