I've been able to create actual PVC's with no problem but I can't ping the destination host on the other end. For instance: I have a FORE-TNX1100 on one end with an IP of 10.1.1.1. On the switch I created a PVC 0/40 that terminates to itself. On my BSD box I created a pvc on atm0(10.1.1.109) with VPI/VCI 0 40 aal5 null ip 10.1.1.1. (The syntax is correct but I don't have it in front of me.) Wouldn't I be able to ping 10.1.1.1 from my atm card on the BSD box? Am I totally off here? Am I leaving a whole bunch out?
