Hi I apologise for being a complete newbie if this is the wrong list to ask this question. Our old solaris box had to go back to its former home and we picked up an HP vectra x86 machine for next to nothing. I have managed to install 4.2 release with only minor difficulties. I can get my cvs/sshd/ftp working fine. On the old box we used Sybase 7.01 for solaris x86. We have a registered 7.01 for linux rh 6.1. Is it possible to get this to install and run on the FreeBSD machine? I have installed the compatibility layer. The first hurdle is the setup script which is bombing right out.
