I said this already a couple of times (should be in the archives): I'm
no longer able to maintain or actively contribute to PicoBSD, so it's up
for grabs, so to speak... as is the web site. I agree, the web pages are
horrendously outdated and misleading, but fixing them would involve
collecting the new material, incorporating the chnges in the build
procedures, etc, etc... If you have time for that, you're more than
welcome to do it (it's easier if you're already a committer). Ask me
privately for details.
