hi all took a week of pullling hair but i came up with this solution php for apache will remain unchanged, and i compiled another php with linux gcc and make that includes oci8 and can only be used via cgi/cli if you know of another way around this please do let me know -- Steve Rieger (212) 804-1131 (Work) (646) 335-8915 (Cell) chozrim (aim)
