Hello, The staff of the Free Software Office of the University of A Coru=C3=B1a (Spain) has set up a new FreeBSD mirror which can be reached at the following addresses: * rsync://rsync.udc.es/freebsd * http://ftp.udc.es/FreeBSD=20 * ftp://ftp.udc.es/FreeBSD The mirror is powered by a quad-core Xeon server with 6TB of disk space in RAID-5 mode. Network bandwidth is 1Gbps. We are currently serving mirrors for more than twenty open source projects (http://softwarelibre.udc.es/Services/Mirror), and most of them are acknowledged as official. We would like to become an official mirror for the FreeBSD project as well, because we believe it is one of the leading projects of the open source community. As we've seen, the other Spanish mirrors are located in Catalunya (east) and the Basque Country (north-east), so it seems nice to have a mirror here in Galicia (north-west).
