also in further to the bug report, I reported some things incorrectly.

the nfsd was running, and my other debian box did have in fstab an entry 
for that ip adress, of course the path was not defined in the freebsd 
machines exports.
so i'm thinking it was crashing everytime that machine tried to poll 
that address for the share.
