Hi, On this page: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/faq/introduction.html#DIFFERENCES-TO-OTHER-BSDS you have a pointer to DaemonNews and another to "The BSD Family Tree": James Howard wrote a good explanation of the history and differences between the various projects for DaemonNews, called The BSD Family Tree which goes a fair way to answering this question. that currently point to a website: http://www.daemonnews.org/ which extols (among other things) Microsoft Vista Software Ultimate.
