Position Responsibilities: =E2=80=A2Maintains a multi-server network in a mixed OS environment with mi= nimal downtime across multiple locations. =E2=80=A2Responsible for all systems administration duties including but no= t limited to architecture, maintenance, and support of primarily Unix based= applications, database, file, web and email servers. =E2=80=A2Conducts performance monitoring and provides appropriate system mo= difications to guarantee responsive system uptime and performance. Includin= g system failure analysis and recovery; insuring the consistency and integr= ity of file systems. =E2=80=A2Tests and deploys relevant software updates at most current and st= able releases including the ability to write scripts to automate administra= tion tasks. =E2=80=A2Coordinates the implementation of computer systems with company pe= rsonnel and outside vendors. =E2=80=A2Responsible for all upgrades and repairs to the LAN/WAN. =E2=80=A2Provides 2nd tier technical support to employees and other IT staf= f members.=20 =E2=80=A2Manages and maintains daily backup of critical systems and monitor= s the performance and resources of the system network. Including the us= e of virus protection software and other commercial software to maintain th= e network and system security.=20 =E2=80=A2Responsible for writing reports that document computer security, I= T focused policies and procedures, and testing results. =E2=80=A2Ability to work nights, weekends as required. =E2=80=A2Other duties as assigned.=09 Qualifications: =20 =E2=80=A2Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.=20 =E2=80=A2At least 3 years experience with maintaining all aspects of a comp= arably sized network. =E2=80=A2Experience with UNIX systems, deployment, maintenance, and trouble= shooting. =E2=80=A2Understanding of TCP/IP protocols, script writing and maintenance = skills administrative familiarity with relevant technologies.=20 =E2=80=A2Strong aptitude in DNS, NFS, Samba, MySQL, Apache, SSH, SSL, PHP, = Shell, Perl, Nagios, MRTG =E2=80=A2LAN/WAN network experience utilizing Cisco and Cisco VPN technolog= ies. =E2=80=A2Must have an excellent grasp of Active Directory, NAS/SAN, Citrix/= Terminal Services, Virualization, Microsoft Project/Visio, and Barracuda ne= twork appliances. =E2=80=A2Strong experience with system management tools, logical file syste= ms and client/server environments.=20 =E2=80=A2Excellent communication and customer service skills along with wel= l developed problem solving and analytical skills. =E2=80=A2Ability to work both independently and with other team members in = order to meet tight deadlines.
