Hi,

I'm trying to get FreeBSD to resume properly on a Thinkpad L512.
It seems that is able to go to sleep, the power button pulses slowly.
The corresponding /var/log/messages entry are:

Jun 23 16:57:57 thinky acpi: suspend at 20130623 16:57:57
Jun 23 16:58:01 thinky kernel: info: [drm] Resetting GPU

But after I push the button again to resume, I just hear the fan goes
crazy...and the CD-ROM doing something...and it just freezes in that state.
I think it is very early in the process, since none of the kernel debug
methods show anything.
I have this in /boot/loader.conf:
debug.acpi.layer="ACPI_ALL_COMPONENTS ACPI_ALL_DRIVERS"
debug.acpi.level="ACPI_LV_VERBOSE"
boot_verbose="YES"
debug.acpi.resume_beep=1

But I hear no beep, and no other messages are printed in /var/log/messages.
The next messages after the two lines above look like this:
Jun 23 16:59:28 thinky syslogd: kernel boot file is /boot/kernel/kernel
Jun 23 16:59:28 thinky kernel: e> port 0xcf8-0xcff on acpi0
Jun 23 16:59:28 thinky kernel: pcib0: decoding 4 range 0-0xcf7
........

which I think are after I manually power-off and power-on the laptop.
If this info helps, Ubuntu is able to suspend/resume properly. I also did a
recent upgrade of BIOS.

Can anyone help me make progress here ?

Thank you,
Stefan
