No valid partition is found; it's trying to figure out what partition
type each flash partition is, and it doesn't find anything useful.

The kernel modules is fine; the default config file is the same for
all platforms regardless of whether things are modules or not.
I should just update /all/ of the platforms to assume everything is a module.
