Jan Beich (mail not working) <jbeich@FreeBSD.org> has reassigned Bugzilla Automation <bugzilla@FreeBSD.org>'s request for maintainer-feedback to multimedia@FreeBSD.org: Bug 213583: multimedia/ffmpeg: enable MMX/SSE by default on i386 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D213583 --- Description --- Created attachment 175893 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D175893&action= =3Dedit v1 With stack alignment crashes fixed SIMD should be safe to use by default gi= ven the code is gated by CPUID check at runtime. CPUID is also used on amd64 to enable SSE4 or AVX at runtime but we haven't seen crashes there, so there's= no corresponding compile-time options.
