--=-=-= Content-Type: text/plain Dear FreeBSD community, In November, the FreeBSD Core Team announced that it was considering changes to the support policy for the stable/12 branch. After discussions with different affected parties, it was determined that more time is required for the community to adjust. Thus, no major changes will occur to the stable/12 branch; it will receive the same support as stable/11 [1]. Any major support model changes [2] will apply to stable/13 at the earliest, and those changes will be announced before 13.0-RELEASE. FreeBSD Core Team [1] https://www.freebsd.org/security/#model [2] We are also considering updates to architecture tiers for stable/13. Any changes will be based on available usage data, survey results, and community discussions. --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQGTBAEBCgB9FiEEnwKDb1DTrVq3WsWIDLQD5OlbluwFAlyhdOlfFIAAAAAALgAo aXNzdWVyLWZwckBub3RhdGlvbnMub3BlbnBncC5maWZ0aGhvcnNlbWFuLm5ldDlG MDI4MzZGNTBEM0FENUFCNzVBQzU4ODBDQjQwM0U0RTk1Qjk2RUMACgkQDLQD5Olb luwCaQgAlAmd+3xRgA+j7czHBduv6xFVpGJTFqKvquUkjFlPhA/xmF7vzEovqH2N z1B2GCzCPKZQU07+t2YMRwBKTk3fpe0/vETCY2QfMcYwtiO8LMOzVjMiS2why5/M 3/rMt1j7BuMaf+2TstXrwTTWMlmWxvOiNrfTajlm3x8rBIR+nssNQpcHBv/GZ+IR fFqxLn4Bcb4CDqqliCuZQSh9cG920yhcgxJp0x5GkXwcZfgRE/6xqHHrV7cK69Qh L++jFFL3Xttg8OY+QwPFgiB88nEJrpnnAmLADLFFfSWak2I6SlrbeLR813G+tZ5R dsHuScMExpvIR/2A42pGb/5gLAn/9A== =wCbh -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=--
