Once you go to FreeBSD 11.3 or 12.X you cannot get any networking at all wi= th KVM / QEMU Q35 + OVMF. We need to do a KVM / QEMU / FreeBSD driver compatibility matrix, as range = of options keeps shrinking as FreeBSD releases roll forward.
