I kind of remember getting something that resembled an mpeg stream
by using brian's mpeg player and making /dev/tm0 a real file, the
ioctls obviously failed, but I think it dumped a stream. that was a
while back though...  I also remember playing with cdd, but I don't think
I got anything useful from it :(
