I can reproduce this on any h/w with vchans turned on and playing mono mp3's at 44.1kHz. Some quick fixes (none ideal): o You've already guessed it - turn vchans off for the the time being. o Resample the 44.1kHz stereo with lame (or your encoder of choice).
