Oh, I hadn't noticed a previous discussion (or possibly I've forgotten
about it). I'm trying a buildworld with the patch; it looks definitely
good. In fact, although I had only gotten about halfway, my patch was
practically identical (modulo whitespaces).

Any hope to get somebody to commit it?
