Nope.  This weekend that will be the default, Satoshi - Ports Wraith -
Asami, is going to convert all ports to the new layout and make it the
standard in bsd.port.mk.  NEWLAYOUT=yes/true (whatever) allows the port
to use the new layout before this weekend.  The name has been committed
for about a week, so it is a little late to change it.  But it should
dissapear this weekend.
