REad the handbook at http://www.freebsd.org. Part 1, section 2 tells you all you need to know about installing FreeBSD. I suggest you start with version 2.2.6. Read the handbook section on downloading the floppy image and creating the boot floppy very carefully. Join the newbies mailing list, freebsd-newbies. Send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.ORG and include in the body of the message 'subscribe freebsd-newbies'. You can get lots of learning help on that list.
