Sorry I lost the original, so I'm replying to a reply, but Peter's

I didn't see your response to "does this apply to ports too?"
questions.  I'm assuming the ports tree is excempt from this, i.e., we
don't need to go add $FreeBSD$ to every frigging file in /usr/ports,
right?
