If I'm not mistaken, I was that person who gave the positive
response to Dima's patch. Since applying it I was not able 
to reproduce "daemons dying". Though it seems that nobody
responsible for FreeBSD VM paied attention to that. I think
that it happened so that people who do not see the problem
on their machines just do not beleive the problem really 
exist ;) :(.
