Two other options for text-mode browsers:

W3, as part of GNU or XEmacs
	CERN line mode

W3 is anything but suitable for picoBSD, given that you need EMACS as well!
The CERN line mode browser is small, but very unfriendly.

What features would you be prepared to sacrifice for a tiny text-based
browser? Clearly images... frames, forms and tables would seem to be the
most difficult parts of an HTML parser: if you removed those four elements,
one could probably generate a fairly small web browser.

You could make it smaller by making it an HTTP client only - Lynx has
mailto:, WAIS, FTP and (I think) gopher support.

There are a number of web browsers now available for the PalmPilot that are
very small, yet relatively powerful, so it can be done.

My 2c of musings for the day...

Cheers
Graeme
