Before pkg-NG this has been working just fine for many years. Now this became more tricky. One issue I am running into is that `make INSTALL_AS_USER=1 check-orphans` does not work. >How-To-Repeat: Build and install/deinstall a port/package as a regular user overriding PKGDB_DIR. Then run `make INSTALL_AS_USER=1 check-orphans` and observe make: stopped in /shscratch/tmp/gerald/4portmgr/lang/gcc ===> Cannot create /var/db/ports/lang_gcc, check permissions *** Error code 1 Apparently this is related to it trying to access /var/db/ports/lang_gcc -- which I did not for all the installation, deinstallation, package creation,...
