Martin,
Have you tried doing a make clean in the kernel compile directory
(probably in your case /usr/src/sys/compile/GENERIC)? I've had similar
failures after doing a cvsup upgrade from 3.2 toolkit installs to -STABLE,
and that's always fixed it.
