Depends on what you're after, but -STABLE might not be what you want. The
name is somewhat misleading. See:
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/current-stable.html

You might be better off upgrading to 4.4-RELEASE and applying
bugfixes/updates instead.
