Sounds like you don't have the Windows box set up as a primary. I guess
named doesn't trust anyone but a primary. If the Windows system should
be a primary, you should set it up that way.
I wouldn't use Win DNS anyway. We worked with it some and found out that
it doesn't know how to create MX records. It's blatently broken as far
as I'm concerned.
