Hi all, I am trying to install some simple ports
for my freebsd system. Every port I try to make
gives "missing separator error", complaining
about the syntax of ".include", ".if" and etc.
What exactly is the make utility people are using
to perform make? (I have gmake 3.79)

Is there assumption all the faq is making that I
am missing? Every one of them says, just type
make install and you are good to go...
