Moin, i've installed FreeBSD 3.3 on my notebook without X Window. There are a little problem with the console fonts. If I set "screen expansion" in notebook bios the fonts looks very bad. If i didnt set "screen expansion" the display are very small. :-) Is there a special setup for a standard notebook display?
