I thought this was automatic, like /home ?
I'm pretty sure I've had to do it by hand in the past, but maybe six months 
ago
I started over with some 3.0-SNAP, expected to have to go make that link, 
and found it was already there.  go figure.

I may, of course, be completely out to lunch.
