I've had le0 (DE201) repeatedly crash one machine during ifconfig, with a
very different hardware configuration. I was going to try it on at least
one more machine before filing a PR. I wouldn't upgrade to 4.0 yet if you
plan on using those NICs.

It seems the only remedy is to replace the NIC with one that uses a
different driver.
