I applied the following two patches to the base 4.10-RELEASE: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/sys/dev/usb/uhci.c.diff?r1=1.40.2.14&r2=1.151 http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/sys/sys/queue.h.diff?r1=1.54&r2=1.55 and the uplcom device seems to work now. Hasn't had much testing, but I'm hopeful that things will be happier in 4.11-RELEASE :-)
