Subject:   A problem with an EXABYTE 8200 and an Adaptec 1542 controller..

I get the following message whenever I try and access the tape drive...
no problems with the disk drives hanging off the same controller...
Any help greatly appreciated

The first answer is yes I have the options BOUNCE_BUFFERS set in the
kernel...
(at least I'm very sure I have)...
