Don't forget /dev/MAKEDEV and all the possible combinations of /dev/[ws]d?s?.

That's the one that bit me when I just bulled it on through *as if* I hadn't 
been reading this list.  That machine has tracked all the releases since 2.0.5 
(IIRC, I blew away the partitions and newfs'ed everything going from 2.0 to 
2.0.5).
