Ok, I want to live dangerously, and run the disks with async writes. Do I have to put mount -u -o async /usr in a rc.local, or can I put an option in /etc/fstab? Also, why is find so slow? On a dos-disk of the same size norton filefind can search the disk in a fraction of the time find does. Leif Neland leifn@image.dk --- |Fidonet: Leif Neland 2:234/49 |Internet: leifn@image.dk
