I make absolutely no apologies for this, because it's how real progress
happens. Otherwise all effort is frittered away on bikesheds. Outside of
FreeBSD (yet somewhat related) I have this problem. I am in discussions
with a lawyer and freenetworks protagonists about legal strategies for
the survival and propagation of freenetworks. If I were to publicly air
EVERYTHING we've been doing and discussing, it would be disastrous.

We'll build that bridge when we come to it. We all have an interest in
seeing these bolt-ons to the network stack propagate and survive. I am
encouraged by luigi's feedback here.

See earlier mail.
