Well, I am not exactly sure WHY that command worked on my 1.1 system, but there is really nothing wrong with find. Cut and paste can be a great boon, but it can also be an easy way to propagate mistakes. I didn't notice that second "-x" in the argument list tagging along. Sorry to have bothered you all!
