Last time i checked out, about Spring of 2005 IMMSMW,
there were the ports java-commapi-freebsd, and java-commapi (which i think =
is=20
just the official jar)

Unfortunately, for linux, i remember there was nothing equivalent (!!!),=20
letting the programmer the choice of using some OSS like JCL in combination=
=20
with RXTX.

Java Comm API is one case where FreeBSD "has better official java support"=
