I suspect there is some kind of hardware driver problem, e.g. delayed or mi=
ssed
interrupts etc. Please collect more information:

1) perform verbose boot, if possible, and save /var/run/dmesg.boot after bo=
ot
completed;
2) re-do the test and save output of "vmstat -ai" after the test completed.

Perform that for both revisions and attach all data plus "diff -u" for
corresponding files.
